Overview
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sabah located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia proudly announces the launch of its 1st International Borneo One Health Conference 2023 (IB OHSem). The first International Borneo One Health Summer Camp 2023 will be held from 7th to 20th of August 2023.
Audience
International participants from different institution (they can be either undergraduate, or graduate students, early- and mid-career healthcare professions or researchers) are invited to join this exciting program.
Program
This event is our 1st two-weeks summer camp which includes in-person class sessions and field trips that provide participants with cutting-edge skills in a variety of One Health topics and immerse them in challenging real-life projects. The full rate fee for this summer camp is RM 10,000.00 for local participants and USD 2,500.00 for international participants. Full/partially funded scholarships are also available for selected applicants on a first come first serve basis (early bird). The programme fee includes instruction and learning materials, accommodation and meals, entertainment programmes, three full-day excursions at our local hot spots and an end-of-course certificate.
The International Borneo One Health Summer Camp aims to provide knowledge, skills and competences regarding efficient solutions to the multifaceted global challenges to human, animal and environmental health through cross-disciplinary research, education and collaboration between relevant institutions and stakeholders through transformative field-based experiential learning.
