Preamble: Whereas, it is expedient to make necessary legal provisions on the security of health workers and health organization against casual incidents and economic liabilities that may arise in the course of medical treatment, with a view
to make health services regular, reliable, decent and effective;
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Constituent Assembly pursuant to Clause (1) of Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063 (2007).
June 6, 2021: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has issued an ordinance with revision.
