Healthy Lungs for Life activities Grant 2022
European Lung Foundation (ELF) offers grants to support Healthy Lungs for Life activities, and this year FIRS (Forum of International Respiratory Societies) is joining us to offer grants specifically for LMICs.
Not-for-profit organisations, patient groups and healthcare professionals can apply for a grant of up to €1,000 to support events and activities that meet one or more of the aims of the Healthy Lungs for Life campaign:
- Increase knowledge of the impact of poor air quality on lung health and the actions that everyone can take to reduce air pollution and avoid exposure
- Highlight the benefits of quitting smoking
- Increase knowledge of the importance of physical activity for lung health
- Raise awareness of vaccination to prevent lung infections
This year we also strongly welcome applications linked to the topic of climate change and lung health.
Applications are now open for events focused on World Lung Day and awareness days later in 2022. The closing date for applications is 31 July 2022.
The Forum of International Respiratory Societies (FIRS) will be joining ELF in offering grants, specifically in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs). Find out more about FIRS’ partnership with the grants scheme.
After the closing date, the ELF team will collect all applications, anonymise them and send them to the Healthy Lungs for Life team for judging. The applications that the team assesses to have the most impact will be offered a grant.
Submit your application for a chance to receive a grant of up to €1,000 to support your activities.
