Overview
In Indonesia, the number of HIV-positive adolescents aged 15-24 years until June 2020 reached 64,652 people of which 31% were already taking ARVs (Ministry of Health, 2020). Between 2011 and 2015, new HIV infections in Indonesia increased annually by 13.1 percent among adolescents (ages 15 to 19) and by 11.8 percent among young people (ages 20 to 24). The Integrated Biological and Behavioral Survey (IBBS) found that HIV prevalence among adolescent boys who have sex with men (MSM) has almost quadrupled between 2011 and 2015 (from 3.8 to 15.6 percent). ). In the 2015 IBBS, the prevalence of HIV among adolescent female direct sex workers and adolescent female indirect sex workers was 6.6 and 1.5 percent, respectively. Likewise, the highest cumulative AIDS percentage has consistently occurred in the 20-29 year age group since 2005, which means they are infected with HIV in their teens (Ministry of Health’s PIMS & HIV Quarterly Report, 2020).
Indonesian young key population has limited access to information on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, which causes an increase in new cases of HIV infection in young people especially young key populations in Indonesia every year. One attempt to address this issue is to provide the space to learn and understand SRHR. The e-course will provide information on understanding Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for young key populations. At the same time, the course is the space for make action plans to advocate SRHR of young key populations in their community using knowledge and skills gained through this course.

Where will the E-course take place?
- We will use Zoom and WhatsApp Group on the platform of the e-course.
- The e-course takes about 60 minutes per class. There will be 6 classes which will be starting from the end of August 2021.
Is there any cost for the E-course?
It’s free, participants do not need to pay any cost for the e-course.
What will you receive at the end of the course?
- All the participants who complete the course will receive a certificate from Inti Muda Indonesia, Y-PEER Asia and Pacific.
