Home Conference The World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) 2022

Overview

FEB 24-27, 2022 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) is the annual scientific, educational, and networking meeting of the International Society of Nephrology. The WCN features regionally-relevant symposia, presentations, training programs, and courses, offering the latest science and state-of-the-art education in nephrology.

WCN is the perfect opportunity to meet experts and peers from around the world to share ideas and best practices.

WCN’22 is organized by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and hosted by the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology and Malaysian Society of Nephrology.

The ISN is proud to bring the congress to South East Asia, ensuring that kidney disease understanding, and awareness will continue to progress in the region.

The World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) highlights three scientific themes within its program: kidney failure, chronic kidney disease, and acute kidney injury.

Promoting inclusivity and equitable access, WCN’22 will host thousands of participants, including the world’s leading experts in kidney health care, to exchange the latest science and clinical applications to improve kidney health and prevent kidney disease worldwide.

WCN’22 and COVID-19

The safety and well-being of our members, their patients, and the public remain our primary concern. Therefore, in response to the continuing pandemic, and in full collaboration with the hosts and the Local Organizing and Scientific Program Working Groups, WCN’22 will take place in the safest possible environment. At this time, the congress activities are scheduled in a virtual format to reach all.  A recovery plan is being implemented by the Malaysian government that will see the society and economy opening towards the end of 2021. In-person activities to WCN’22 may be added to the virtual format and will be announced if considered safe and feasible by all.
