Ministry of Health to be made tobacco-free zone

Ministry of Health to be made tobacco-free zone

Ministry of Health has decided to place a ban on chewing tobacco on its premises.
Speaking during an interaction with the media, Minister of State for health and Population Padma Kumari Aryal informed that the ministry would be soon declared tobacco-free zone.
“No one will be allowed to enter the premises of the ministry carrying/chewing tobacco products and will have to go through screening for the same at the entrance gate. Rules will be implemented for ministry staffers as well as the public visiting the ministry,” added Aryal.
Similarly, people consuming alcohol will also not be allowed to enter the ministry premises,” added Aryal.
