Police arrests Dr Govinda KC from Maharajgunj-based Teaching Hospital

Jan 8, 2018- A team of Kathmandu Police Range on Monday arrested Dr Govinda KC from Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu. 
The team left shortly after the Supreme Court issued an order to Nepal Police directing to arrest the agitating doctor and present him before the court on Tuesday morning.
Dr KC will be detained at Singha Durbar Police Circle after the arrest.
Dr KC began his 14th hunger strike at the TUTH premises on Monday demanding resignation of Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli.
