Here is an overview of two-year global health related master programmes across University of Copenhagen.

1.Master of Science (MSc) in Global Health

As a graduate in Global Health your competences will enable you to work with the many interrelated determinants impacting human global health and disease – ranging on a scale from individual to society. This includes politics, policies, trade and economy, frameworks, socio-cultural issues, and climate change.

The programme is offered in English.

2. Master of Science (MSc) in Global Development

Massive economic growth in parts of the Global South has lifted billions of people out of poverty while many continue to live in very poor conditions.

The MSc in Global Development provides graduates with the qualifications required to understand, analyze and act in this new and globalized world. The MSc in Global Development is a two-year degree programme taught in English.

3. MSC IN PUBLIC HEALTH SCIENCE

Do you want to promote the health of the population and improve the healthcare system? As a candidate in public health science, you get a broad professional profile that consists of both social and health science competencies.

The education opens up career opportunities in Denmark and abroad in both the public and private sectors. Among other things, you can work with health planning and administration, analysis, consultancy, teaching and research.

4.Master of Science (MSc) in Climate Change

Climate Change is a 2-year interdisciplinary MSc programme, combining natural and social science approaches to the study of climate change. The programme is offered in English.

With an MSc in Climate Change you will be equipped to take up job functions associated with local, national and international efforts to deal with climate change, one of the currently greatest challenges to modern society. 

5.Master of Science (MSc) in Human Nutrition

The 2-year MSc programme in Human Nutrition gives you the scientific foundation to understand and work with nutrition and diet in human health and disease. The programme is offered in English.

In the programme, you will learn about the metabolism of energy and nutrients in the human body, the importance of nutrition in the various stages of life, and the effects of nutrition in prevention and treatment of disease. As a graduate you will have extensive expertise in the relationship between diet, nutrition, and health, which will enable you to contribute to solving nutrition-related health problems, both locally and on a national or even global scale.
