Join global health leaders, policymakers and practitioners at the Fifth Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health. This event, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Pan American Health Organization/WHO Regional Office for the Americas and the Colombian Ministry of Health, gathers governments, UN agencies, NGOs, researchers and civil society to advance equitable, human rights-based healthcare for refugees and migrants.
The Global School includes: keynote addresses, interactive panels, in-depth case studies and Q&A sessions, focused on refugee and migrant health.

Event Objective
The Fifth Global School aims at promoting dialogue and action to advance the health and wellbeing of refugees and migrants through human rights and equity – based provision of health care.

Agenda
Over the course of five days, with sessions of 90 minutes each, the Global School will focus on advancing to the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) for refugees and migrants. Main themes include:
Day 1: Primary Healthcare (PHC) Inclusive of Refugees and Migrants.
Day 2: Managing Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) across the Migration Cycle.
Day 3: Equitable Health Financing Strategies.
Day 4: Bridging Research and Policymaking.
Day 5: UHC throughout and beyond Migrant Health Emergency Crises.

Certification and Registration
Participants who complete all daily evaluation surveys will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Attendance, issued by WHO at the end of the event. This certificate recognizes active participation and commitment during the Fifth Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health.
The event will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual participation. In-person participation is by invitation only, while virtual participation is open to all, with global live-streaming and opportunities for online engagement.
