Master programs in public health will prepare you to improve the population’s mental and physical health through discovery, education and the translation of research into effective health policy and practice.
We draw on many different areas of population health to give you a comprehensive understanding of the field, including:

- environment, climate and health
- infectious disease epidemiology and modelling
- society, culture and health.
Workplace-related learning can be readily incorporated for those who work in relevant public health jobs.
Admission Requirements
A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5/7.
All applicants must meet the University’s English Language Admission Requirements for Students.
Progression requirements apply. Progression into the research component is conditional upon a minimum 70% average mark in the first 48 units of coursework and the availability of an approved supervisor. Applicants with a Bachelor Degree or Graduate Certificate in a cognate discipline may be eligible for 24 units (one semester) of credit. Applicants with a Graduate Diploma or Honours in a cognate discipline may be eligible for 48 units (one year) of credit.
