Youth and non-youth from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America and the Caribbean are encouraged to apply.

A group of youth-led organizations – supported by FP2030 – is setting out to challenge the Sexual and Reproductive health

and Rights field (especially governments, iNGOs, and donors)

and take the movement for equitable partnerships with young people to the next level!And we need your expertise to make it happen!

Do you have relevant experience in developing global movement-builidng communications, campaigns for systems change (especially related to equity in the international development), and knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights donors and stakeholders? If so, you may just be the one we’re looking for!

We are hoping to inspire progress in the following areas:

  1. Implementation of equitable agreements and partnerships between youth, youth-led organizations, and other institutions, by adjusting subcontracts, memoranda of understanding, terms of reference, and ensuring fair compensation for work;
  2. Making resources more easily available by co-designing new funding mechanisms with young people and revising procurement policies and existing mechanisms;
  3. Facilitating organizational development, not just technical strengthening to strengthen youth-led organizations, networks, and movements based on their identified goals and needs and improve non-youth organizations and institutions’ ability to establish and sustain partnerships with young people.

Why do we need comms/campaign support? As a first step, we want to design a challenge for action in these areas. By the end, we want stakeholders to be able to demonstrate concrete change (big and small) in these areas.

What is the timeline? We want to start strategizing with you/your team in early August 2021 (we aim to have our first meeting with you in the second week of August) and aim to kick off the campaign/challenge starting in September 2021, going through March/April 2022.

What experience do you need? Experience working with young people, movement building communications, campaigns creating systems change (especially related to equity in the “international development field”), globally focused,and knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights donors and stakeholders would be preferred.

What skills are we looking for? Branding development, campaign strategy, graphic design, social media, media placement, content development, editing, and english proficiency (other languages an asset).

Who are we looking for? We don’t have a preference for individuals, companies, organizations, etc. We are looking for people with the right skills and background!
