Vector borne diseases (VPDs) are human illnesses caused by parasites, viruses and bacteria. Basically, Vector-borne diseases are transmitted to susceptible hosts. The infection transmitted to humans and other animals by blood-feeding anthropods, such as mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas.
The common Vector borne diseases are malaria, dengue fever, Japanese encephalitis, plague, Lyme disease, Chikungunya, Yellow fever, Zika virus, Lymphatic filariasis, Leishmaniasis.
