SAPPROS Nepal is a national, non‐governmental, and non-profit making organization established in 1991 and dedicated to reducing poverty in Nepal. To this end, it works on five holistic components: (i) Organizational Development and Capacity Building, (ii) Infrastructure and WASH, (iii) Education, Health and Nutrition (IV) Food Security and Livelihoods (iv) Resilience, Climate Justice and DRR/M and (v) Health and Nutrition. Currently, SAPPROS’s geographical coverage includes 18 districts of Nepal spread over Karnali, Sudur Paschim, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Madhesh provinces. Livelihood recovery, emergency response, agriculture and water resource development, Health and Nutrition and community resource mobilization are the key areas of expertise of SAPPROS Nepal.
