Naulo Ghumti Nepal (NGN) is a non-government organization established in 2002 in Pokhara to work among marginalized and stigmatized communities in Nepal. NGN originally began as a project funded by International Nepal Fellowship in 1995 to tackle the growing epidemic of HIV/AIDS and drug abuse in Nepal among Injecting Drug users and PLHIV. Since then, NGN has successfully grown in experience and capability as an organization, proving its sustainability and continuing its work in social service. Over the past two decades, NGN has broadened its’ activities in terms of geographical coverage and thematic area. We have increased our reach to improve lives among vulnerable and stigmatized communities from providing affordable health services to child protection, education, income generation, rural infrastructure development, WASH, disaster risk reduction, climate change, good governance, livelihood and advocacy programs.

NGN has reached 23 of the 77 districts in Nepal covering six of the seven provinces in Nepal till date. Currently, NGN is serving marginalized and stigmatized key populations of PLHIVs, IDUs, vulnerable poor children and rural communities across Nepal through its various projects in Kaski, Tanahun and Manang districts. NGN has also launched its Sponsor A Dream Program, which aims to sponsor and support disadvantaged children from vulnerable and poor backgrounds to afford education in community schools. The program is supported by annual fundraising drive conducted by NGN among philanthropists and corporate institutions within Nepal.
