Job Description

Position : Consultant – Health Planning and Financing Specialist
Location: Kathmandu with field visits (as required)
Duration: Approximately 25 working days (by December 2025)
Position Overview
The Health Planning and Financing Specialist will provide financial and economic analysis to support the design of the MMS Roadmap. The role includes developing a costing framework, conducting economic analysis, identifying financing gaps, and proposing sustainable financing mechanisms.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Advanced degree in Health Economics, Public Health Economics, or related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in health financing, costing, and policy analysis in Nepal.
- Proven experience with costing of national health/nutrition strategies.
- Strong quantitative and policy advisory skills.
