Reports to: Provincial Coordinator of GIZ Health Project in Lumbini and Sudur Pashchim
Working locations: At one of partner municipality office

- Alital Rural Municipality (Dadeldhura) – 01
- Bijayanagar Rural Municipality (Kapilvastu) – 01
- Jhimruk Rural Municipality (Pyuthan) – 01
Responsibilities:
- Assist municipal health unit and coordinate with respective municipalities’ health coordinator for evidence-based management of programmes implementation focusing basic health services, GESI mainstreaming and activities planned under local contribution contract.
- Coordinate with provincial team GIZ on planning and preparation of related training, meetings and workshops at respective municipalities.
- Assist municipal health team on monthly/ quarterly/ biannual meetings, and support on minuting the meetings for effective monitoring and reporting.
- Assist in preparation of 7 step planning of health sector ensuring inclusive participation of women, persons with disability and other marginalized groups, evidence-based annual health performance review workshop at local level.
- Assist the municipality health team with planning, preparation, training, and on-site coaching for the implementation of the Digital HMIS register and other digitalization initiatives.
- Asist on field visits to health facilities along with advisors in partner municipalities when and where required.
- Assist in preparing event reports and documenting the lesson learnt and managing the knowledge products.
Required Qualifications and Experience Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health/healthcare management or nursing from an accredited university.
- Good interpersonal skills and team player ability.
- Willingness to learn and travel to remote areas of Lumbini and Sudurpachim Province.
- Working knowledge of English and Nepali – both spoken and written (essential)
- MS Office package, internet and email use (essential)
- 0 – 1 year of professional experience.
- Preference will be given to women candidates and from disadvantage group.
