FHI 360 Nepal invites applications from qualified individuals with relevant academic qualifications, experience and expertise to fill various positions under United States Government (USG)-funded projects—Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) and Strengthening Infectious disease Detection System (STRIDES) —as outlines below.

Position: Health Information System (HIS) Specialist

The HIS Specialist is a critical part of the  EpiC project’s strategic information team. The HIS Specialist is responsible for working alongside EpiC’s government partners and IPs to advance the use of HIMS and the subsequent use of data from these systems to inform planning and improve health outcomes. The individual in this role will work across EpiC’s broad technical portfolio, engaging in activities for HIV, GHS, MNCH, and nutrition. The Specialist will liaise with Government of Nepal stakeholders at the national and subnational level, local IPs, as well as FHI 360 technical focal points in the Nepal office, in the Asia Region, and at headquarters.

Key Qualification and experience

Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, public health, or population and three years related experience or a bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience in health information system development.
