Job Description
Karuna Foundation Nepal (KFN) is a Nepali Non-Governmental Organization which aims to prevent avoidable disabilities among children and improve quality of lives of children and adults with disabilities, developing evidence based scalable community models. It has been working in disability prevention and community based rehabilitation in Nepal since 2007.
Position: Manager-M&E
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Contract type: Fixed term contract with three months of probation period
Program Background
Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Program (DPRP) is a community-based model of inclusive development implemented in direct partnership with the provincial government of Koshi Province and local governments. The goal of the program is to prevent avoidable disabilities and improve the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities and their families through community-based rehabilitation. The program supports to strengthen community support systems for the achievement of these goals.
Purpose of the Position
- The Manager for M&E is expected to provide monitoring and evaluation leadership in the organization.
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in public health (MPH)/Health Science from a recognized institution with minimum of four years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of health-related field in International/Non-Governmental Organization.
