This Menstrual Hygiene Day on 28th May 2018 with this year theme #No more limit, DCA Nepal invites you to tell us your perception of a dignified menstrual health and hygiene in the form of a short film. We need to voice against all inequalities and stigma related to menstruation in Nepal may be it in rural or urban, as per different ethnicity or religion, different health and hygiene issues related to menstruation because of lack of knowledge on menstruation, availability and affordability of different menstrual hygiene management materials and its proper disposal mechanism, availability of proper WASH facilities in community and school due to which many girls students miss their school, all which is affecting women and girls to reach their full potential. What better way than putting your ideas in the form of a short video- not more than three minutes?

Your short film should focus around three core themes:

  • Dignified Menstruation
  • Breaking the Stigma
  • Importance of menstrual health and hygiene for women and girls to reach their full potential
