QA Officers, Program Coordinator (ORS Zinc & MHM), R,M&E Officer- Nepal CRS Company: Nepal CRS Company (CRS) is a not-for-profit organization engaged in social marketing of family planning, maternal child health and other health products in Nepal. Its mission is to improve the national health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services.

Quality Assurance Officers ( 2 )

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract with possibility of extension 

Duty Station: 

  • Pokhara with extensive travel to remote areas of Gandaki and Dhaulagiri zone
  • Bagmati with extensive travel to hills and mountains of supervision area

 Role and Responsibility: Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for strengthening Quality of Care provided by Sangini Outlets. The job entails extensive travel to hills and mountain districts of Nepal to conduct the Technical Support Visits (TSV) of the Sangini Outlets to assess the Quality of Care provided for Family Planning Services against the pre-determined criteria. The TSV visit will identify the gaps in Quality of Care and agreed timelines with the service providers to rectify these gaps.

The incumbent reports to Manager – Quality Assurance based at Head Office and also closely communicates with field team.

The incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating with districts stakeholders including government line agencies, NGOs and other partners working in the area of family planning and reproductive health as needed.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health (BPH) / B.Ed in Health with paramedical background (HA/ Staff Nurse) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institute.

 Experience, Competencies and others:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Family Planning / Reproductive Health
  • Experience in managing and working in Reproductive Health with focus on quality of family planning program
  • Willingness for frequent travel; since the 90% of the job role involves extensive travelling to mountains and hills of supervision area.
  • Good writing and speaking skills in Nepali and English.
  • Proficient in using computers (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Valid motorbike driving license

Program Coordinator (1) – ORS Zinc
Job Type: Time Bound Contract

Duty Station:  Province 2
Role and Responsibility: The Program Coordinator-ORS/Zinc will be responsible to provide technical support and oversight effective and efficient implementation of the ORS/Zinc project for the treatment of diarrhea for children below 5 years of age in Province 2. The Project coordinator shall ensure adequate availability and accessibility of ORS/Zinc combo pack in project area as well as encourage staffs working in Pharmacies to prescribe ORS/Zinc as the preferred treatment for diarrhea.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in any health related studies or D. Pharm/HA/SN with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

Experience, Competencies and others:

  • 2 years in sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products or similar nature of job
  • Willingness to travel frequently

Program Coordinator  ( 2 ) – MHM  Project
Job Type: Time Bound Contract

Duty Station: Province 7
Role and Responsibility: The Program Coordinator will be responsible to provide technical support and oversight to the implementing partners for the effective and efficient implementation of the Menstrual Hygiene Management – Social Marketing of Sanitary Napkins. The Project coordinator shall ensure availability and accessibility of sanitary pads in project area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any health related studies or HA/SN with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline 

Experience, Competencies and others:

  • 2 years of experience in menstrual health management/ women’s reproductive health or similar job kind
  • Willingness to travel frequently

Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer ( 1)

Job Type:  Time Bound Contract
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Role and Responsibility: This position aims to provide support to company’s Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RME) functions through implementation of M&E plan, ensuring data quality, capacity building on M&E functions, providing support on research and technical study. The Project M&E Officer will be responsible to assist the RME Manager for the design and implementation of comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system of the projects implemented by CRS.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Public/Reproductive Health /Social Science/ Management with three years of experience in research, monitoring & evaluation or Masters’ in Public/Reproductive Health /Social Science/ Management with one year of experiences in Research, Monitoring & Evaluation.

Competencies and others:

  • Command in MS Office with familiarity in handling data software such as SPSS/ Stata, Advance Excel, GIS etc.
