MEAL Assistant – KIRDARC Nepal: KIRDARC Nepal is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance with especial focus on building capacities of right holders, duty bearers and civil society contributing to inclusive growth and fair development. It works with a vision for a just and prosperous society with people having access to and ownership over resources and opportunities.
KIRDARC Nepal in partnership of WaterAid Nepal is implementing “Sustainable WASH Programme in Kalikot and Jumla district” with the aim to support in realization of WASH rights of the marginalized and people in vulnerable situations with access to improved water &sanitation facilities and practice of hygiene behaviorsso that they can lead a healthy and dignified lives. The project aims will use Human Right Based Approach to improve the access for the sustainable development. Thus, KIRDARC invites applications from interested candidates for the following full-time positions.

MEAL Assistant (Based in Kalikot)-1

Key Responsibilities:
The MEAL Assistant will have primary responsibility for monitoring/tracking the project implementation, assess the quality of results, draw learning from the project and provide technical coordination of project implementation team.The MEAL Assistant will support project team providing necessary formats and forms along with quality documentation of the results and support in meeting, review and reflection. The MEAL Assistant reports to Programme Manager/Coordinator through Project Coordinator and manage Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) system inside organization.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Intermediate Level with at least 3 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, lesson learns collection and forward accountability promotion. Strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines on short notice, and act as a team player. Experience in community based participatory monitoring mechanisms and build their capacity to adopt it. Knowledge on collection of data and use of smart mobiles will be highly recognized.Excellent in Computer application such as in word, Excel and power point. Excellent in Nepali and English both in written and spoken; Knowledge of local languages in the district will add value.
