Save the Children’s Emergency Health Unit is currently enlisting candidates for their humanitarian emergency roster to safeguard strong external health and operational support surge capacity when our emergency responses require it.

As a member of the roster you will receive online induction to Save the Children, and technical training to prepare for deployments. We call upon you to volunteer or be hired when disaster strikes. English, French, Arabic and Swahili language abilities are very valuable. Right to work in the UK is notneeded.
- Willing to be deployed anywhere in the world at medium/short notice.
- Minimum commitment of 2 weeks (up to 12 weeks) per deployment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Professionally qualified with work experience in fast-paced and low resource environment with an international organization or international experience.

The roster does not automatically translate to a paid role as it is dependent on the scale of our response and the availability of the roster members. Deployments with Save the Children are paid, unless specifically identified as a volunteer role.
