Call for Internship (Paid) – Visible Impact

Visible Impact is currently seeking applications for the position of Intern. Details on the internship can be found here:
Position: Program Intern (Paid)
Number: Two
Time commitment: Full time (10 AM to 5 PM), Sunday to Friday
Location: 212/48 Dhapasi Marga, Basundhara, Kathmandu

Starting date and duration: The internship will commence on 1st of June, 2018 and the internship duration will be for 3 months (Extendable based on the performance and mutual agreement).

Purpose of Internships:

We encourage applications from skilled and motivated young people to serve as interns at Visible Impact, who will support our work on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of young people. The purpose of the internship is to provide an opportunity for individuals to substantively contribute to and learn from our work. The intern will be given specific tasks and responsibilities and will be challenged to develop their capabilities and gain experience. The intern is expected to be flexible and to take part in various activities at the office and sometimes in the field.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed, in any relevant field
  • Proficiency in oral and written English language and Microsoft office package
  • Committed, hard-working, positive, open-minded, reflective and willing to learn
  • Strong sense of collaborative work, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills

Application procedure: 

Interested and qualified candidates are requested to send us your updated CV and a cover letter explaining your motivation and a description of what you hope to achieve during your internship at Visible Impact. Also, specify your main skills and interests. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for the further selection process.
